Operation: Beach House

Last week, I had the opportunity to get away from the city and relax in the beautiful coastal region of St. Simons Island, Georgia.  So quaint and peaceful!  The cutest downtown shops, fishing on the piers, dolphins in the river, it's such a nice getaway only 4 hours from Atlanta.

I found a lot of inspiration from the old town, nautical remnants with rich history dating back to the early 1800s.  Here are a few pictures:

Next year, we'll be renting a beach home.  My translation: clean, crisp whites with pops of color through well thought out accessories.

Until next summer, I will let my imagination run wild!

Go forth and design!

  1. I love St. Simon's Island! We just did a guest post on the college advice blog - The LI$T as a part of our 'How to Make It..' travel series about Savannah and Hilton Head area. We highlight several ways you can travel there on a college shoe-string budget. I need to write one about St. Simon's Island soon!
